Faye Kellerman
Biography
Bestselling author Faye Kellerman was born in St. Louis in 1952 and grew up in California. She attended UCLA where she earned a B.A. in mathematics in 1974. Kellerman graduated from dental school but decided to become a writer after being inspired by the success of her husband, Jonathan Kellerman.

Her first novel, The Ritual Bath, introduced the popular series featuring Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus. It won the 1987 Macavity Award for Best First Mystery. Kellerman has been a member of the board of the Southern California Chapter of the Mystery Writers of America.
