Judith B. Jones
Biography
Judith Jones is Senior Editor and Vice President at Alfred A. Knopf.

Judith has worked for the company since 1957, beginning as an editor working on translations of French writers. She had worked before that for Doubleday, both in New York and Paris, where she was responsible for recommending The Diary of Anne Frank.

Judith has developed a list of first-rate cookbook writers; her authors have included Julia Child, James Beard, Joan Nathan, Jacques Pépin, among many others.

Jones is the coauthor on a number of books with Evan Jones (her late husband) and Angus Cameron.

Judith has written My Life in Food (2007) and The Pleasures of Cooking for One (2009). She has contributed to Vogue, Saveur, and Gourmet magazines.

In 2006, Judith was awarded the James Beard Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award.
