Matthew Heines
Biography
Matthew Heines is a teacher and a writer. He has a Bachelors Degree in History from Washington State University and a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Alaska in Anchorage. He also served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division and has taught at the secondary as well as the college level in three different countries. Matthew is the author of two other books, My year in Oman and Another Year in Oman that describe his experiences in the Sultanate of Oman, where he took a job as an English teacher after the 9/11 terror attacks. He has traveled to India, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Malaysia, Egypt, Israel, the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands.
