Stephen Maitland Lewis
Biography
Stephen Maitland-Lewis, born in England, November 22, 1944 is a professional writer. He was educated privately in England and later studied law at University and was awarded an honors Bachelor of Laws degree and subsequently a Master of Laws degree. He worked as an attorney for a while then moved into international investment banking. He worked for several years in international banking in places such as Kuwait and Munich. In 2000 he became a full-time writer and later editor of the Los Angeles Daily Journal¿s Verdicts & Settlements weekly supplement. He has written for the Cobblestone Press as well as for innumerable United States and English publications. He has made many frequent appearances on American radio and television and has been a guest on BBC¿s Voice of America. His novels include Hero on Three Continents, Scammed, Botticelli¿s Bastard, Emeralds Never Fade, and Ambition.
