In 1991, he sold it and moved to Atlanta as a what else: a stockbroker and he learned to sell like, as he puts it, an animal. After five years of playing with other people's money, Dan wanted to get back out on his own. He started and built a Pest Control Company, a Lawn Care Company, a Truck Rental Business and a business to sell businesses - a Business Brokerage Business. In all of these ventures his ultimate goal was sales and growth. Dan's resumé does not include college. His real education came in the form of an eight month hitchhiking trip around the United States when he was 22. It was the road-trip we all wished we had taken.
