It is highlighted the examination of three critical episodes: 1. the struggle for the student`s participation in the university administration in the 60`s (Reforma Universitaria), 2. High school student's revolt to finish the law that regulates the educational system inherited from the military government (Revolucion Pinguina) and 3. The claim for free education started by the university students in the year 2011 at the same time of the Occupy Wall Street Movement (OWS) and "indignados" in Madrid Spain. Finally, it is highlighted the rising of new social leaders who play important roles in the political transformations occurred in Chile at the end of the 60`s (rising of the "Unidad Popular" government) and the wearing off of the neoliberal model during the first years of the 21st century.Finally, the episodes occurred in Chile stared by young people are related with the events stared by their equals in Latin-America and the world.
