Corbilina, a little fairy with no voice, teaches children a valuable lesson by introducing them to a language of compassion and kindness. This language is called heart language. In this story, a child and Corbilina use their imaginations and the tools they have at hand to solve a mystery. They use creative problem solving to demonstrate kindness to creatures in nature that cannot help themselves. When children learn how to demonstrate kindness, they begin to develop a mindset that will be a lifelong habit and bring them and others great joy.Directions for building Corbilina houses in each of the Corbilina books provide additional encouragement for children to engage in creative problem solving. This hands-on activity challenges children to repurpose objects in nature. They also learn there is no right or wrong way to build a Corbilina house.Children will not only enjoy the story but will engage their imaginations when they answer creative questions at the end of the story.
