Cody McCord's family was slaughtered by a creature called the Wendigo. He finds out from his Indian friend Ahmik that Wendigos are doomed to wander the lands, devouring every human they meet until they are killed. Cody vows revenge against this evil monster and sets off to find it. Ahmik tells Cody that the Wendigo is not the only monster that lives among them and to be careful. Cody decides to help others against all evil creatures on his journey to find the Wendigo that killed his family. The people he helps call him Cowboy Cody: Monster Hunter!
