There is not the gut ripping sadness of Elissa: Queen of Carthage this is an angrier, wittier book; a different face for loss but a book about loss nonetheless. I am proud of these poems, of this work. I hope you will find in them the Moxie and lemon it took to write them; a strong drink with a bit of a kick.
