More DescriptionA continuation of Final Destiny Spirit Of The Wind. Cherokee was born the summer of 1999. He was the son of Michael and Katherine. Katherine was a female Doctor from Tampa Florida. She specialized in Neurology. In the eighth month of her pregnancy she moved up to North Carolina early in the summer of 1999. Michael whom had passed away from a brain tumor eight months ago. Michael spent a lot of adventurous summers here. This is where they both met and conceived their soon to be son. Katherine felt that she must return to the mountains to deliver Michael s child as she had promised. At first Katherine rented a large chalet at the top of a mountain overlooking Gatlinburg and a beautiful view of Mount Lecont. She also bought a very large telescope to look at the mountain. Katherine mounted the telescope on her balcony, she could zoom in on the top of the mountain and see the cabins on Lecont. She could see the very same cabin she and Michael stayed in the previous year. She could see the cliff that she had hung from and was rescued by whom the Indians call the Spirit Wind, "The Spirit Of The Mountains." She could see the trails they had walked and the rivers they crossed. Although the telescope brought it all up close, she ached to hike the mountain and started hiking it every weekend. The Indians on the reservation heard about her meeting with Spirit Wind. They had also heard that Michael had met him a few weeks before he died. The chief of the tribe was named Thunder. He called the elders together to discuss the visions Katherine spoke of. Thunder called Katherine to their meeting to tell her of an old Indian Prophecy. They told her of the meeting of their ancestors on the mountain and how they were rescued by the very same spirit. How the spirit told them of the "Destined Ones" that would one day meet here. How they both would fall in love and have a child. This child would then save their people from an evil unlike they never have seen before. This would complete a journey that had started many generations before by Michael and Katherine. Without this child their people would have vanished many years ago. They told her of how the circle of life repeats itself time and time again, this time Katherine and Michael were caught up in the Destiny of the Cherokee Indians. Katherine tried to understand what they were talking about. Not realizing the path that she had been was the same one her ancestors had taken many years ago. This time would prove to be different than the first time. This time she would not be on the path alone. She told them she just wanted to have a normal child and a normal life, nothing out of the ordinary, just normal. Then Katherine's water broke and she went into labor. She felt a little light headed then an intense pain and she began to cry. One of the women named Winter Wind was passing by and heard her and looked in to see what she was crying for. "Are you OK?" She asked. "No!" Katherine replied. "The baby coming and there is something wrong!" "We better get you to the clinic," Winter insisted. "No!" Katherine haltingly replied. "The baby is coming now and something wrong I'm bleeding!" She replied. Winter panicked and ran for help at the clinic. Katherine started to cry in pain. She whispered, "This is not how it is supposed to happen Michael."
