Harry is on trial for the murder of his wife, Iris. He does not plead guilty, claiming that he had killed Iris to defend his life. And while on trial, Harry goes back to the past... Harry is gay since high school and college, but when he meets Iris, he mistakenly believes her to be the one and marries her. Who would have known that after five years of marriage, Iris and their marriage would change? It happens one day when Iris is preparing to go to work as a nurse. She asks Harry's help to pull up the zipper of her favorite uniform, but the zipper won't budge and it rips. Iris suddenly shouts at him, and that's the beginning of the end of their marriage. Iris gains weight rapidly until she loses her job and she becomes so unhappy that she always verbally abuses her husband. Harry takes it all in. Even when he meets Steve, a gay man who encourages him to leave his wife, Harry won't do it. He continually takes in the abuse, until Steve can no longer bear it and does something with unexpected results.
