She shares her own stories on how she overcame her doubts and fears of a punitive, judgemental God and how she made peace with the death of loved ones. It is the author's hope to reach out to help those struggling with their own fears and doubts about spiritual/religious issues, especially those who are yearning to find a true God of their understanding, a higher power the embodies all the good things in life: love, compassion, joy, kindness and peace. She explores issues of sexual orientation, alcoholism, self esteem and depression and how she was able to find peace and acceptance when she became aware of the lessons of new thought spirituality known as Science of Mind and Spirit, a spirituality where all are welcomed.
