Author Biography
Tse, Chris (Author)
Chris Tse was born and raised in Lower Hutt, Wellington Region, New Zealand. He is a poet, editor, and writer. He studied English literature and film at Victoria University of Wellington. He also completed an MA in Creative Writing. Tse was one of three poets featured in AUP New Poets 4 and his work has also appeared in Turbine, Sport, Landfall, Cha and Best New Zealand Poems and been recorded for Radio New Zealand. His first collection is entitled How to be Dead in a Year of Snakes. In 2016 this book won the New Zealand Award Best First Book Award. His previous jobs have also included jobs as an actor, musician and filmmaker.
