Dumas learns that Josh Carr is in possession of the Treaty of Tenochtitlan. The document, thought to be lost long ago, is the missing piece of information Dumas needs to find the imprisoned queen. To get it, he devises a gruesome plan that will both rock the very foundation of the United States and give him the leverage he needs to keep the young Spirit Warrior at bay. Once put in motion, the vampire's plan successfully misdirects the authorities and vilifies Josh, making him public enemy number one.
