More DescriptionWhat better place to come out of the closet than in Gay Paris?
Tony is about to embark in a journey of a lifetime -- a year abroad in France. The year is 1990, the Berlin Wall has just come down, and Europe is in turmoil as the first Gulf War unfolds.
France offers opportunity for all kinds of learning, and Tony learns a lot more than just the language. He meets hunky French instructor Jean-Luc and learns the real meaning of a French kiss. In Paris, he confronts his gay identity through a series of steamy encounters that lead him deeper into a labyrinth of lust. Friends Ron and Cisco introduce him to the world of gay bars and trendy discothèques, and Tony stumbles upon the gritty underside of the city of lights, uncovering its dark corners and cruisy crannies.
Through Tony's words, Paris and its surroundings are evoked with lyrical language and a sense of sensual abandonment. He may start out as a novice in the labyrinth of love and lust, but he learns quickly how to handle himself. Then, att the Louvre, he falls coup de foudre, or in love at first sight, with sweet, sexy Loïc. Together they hitchhike across France, make love in Loïc's studio apartment under the shadows of the Eiffel Tower, and discover the intimate corners of Paris and of each other.
Will Loïc be able to lead Tony out of the labyrinth by teaching him the true meaning of love?
