As I listened, my thoughts of him as a man and a Poet were those of respect and love for Humanity. His attitude toward others is so refreshing . . . as it holds no judgments, though not blind to the injustices of this world due to a lack of love and understanding in our community.In the pages of 'Living My Dream', Mr. Hawkins will skillfully take you on many a journey. Sojourn with him. Whether he is searching, giving, asking for acceptance or standing up to the masses while walking his own path, you will find that the common denominator is that of Love. His words are expertly woven into messages. These diamonds will jump off the page, right into your heart and will not let you go. You will also find that while the peoples are holding onto a delusional belief system, Mr. Hawkins offers education that will remove the blinders and give sight to the blind. He provides a map to Freedom for those in chains, an Asylum for the lost and Encouragement to all. All of these are important qualities to possess and share. His words and actions are of love, equality and kindness. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would be proud of this Son who shares the Dream.His creativity and imagination reflect the man inside and the many roads that he has traveled. He has met and conquered challenge after challenge. One of the reasons that we call him King. I think of him as a Warrior King and what a rich soul he does possess and willingly shares his expertise with us.I am honored to write this Foreword and introduce you to 'Living My Dream' as Mr. Hawkins so eloquently envelops you into his world, your world and mine.
