Regional cooperation, also, is essential in securing least cost supply.The African Energy Policy Research Network (AFREPREN) promotes research on energy issues relevant to the formulation and implementation of policy by governments in East, Central and Southern Africa. It also aims to build a research capability in this field among African energy professionals.
