While she was examining it, a spiny protrusion nicked her finger,drawing blood, and it dropped on the brass of the book. She watched as the book absorbed the blood. She forgot about it during the day and remembered to check itthat night. While examining it, she observed that the spine andcorners of the book looked to be tiny puzzles. She solved eachpuzzle on four of the corners. And after solving the last puzzle, several things took place. She woke up to find herself in some sort of a cell, bound. And then she came face to face with an impossibly woman, complete with batlike wings, tail and horns? Now what had she gotten herself into?
