More DescriptionSterling Honor is a modern-day adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac with Sterling Bartholomew as Cyrano; Regina Rosalind as Roxanne; Christina Nadia as Christian. Beginning at a martial arts expo, Sterling thinks Regina is ready to proclaim her love for him, but it is for Christina. Sterling, wanting Regina to be happy, makes an agreement with Christina to teach her to be what Regina desires; Sterling is both a teacher in martial arts, as well as poetry and philosophy. As part of Christina's education, Sterling joins her physical training with poetry, philosophy and style; Sterling thinks if he can't be what Regina wants, she should still have everything she wants in another. Christina, being impetuous moves too soon, and angers Regina. Sterling has to overcome that anger. Christina eventually decides she doesn't want to become what she isn't, and to make Regina decide between the woman Christina is, against the soul that is presented in the poetry created by Sterling. At a party, upon Christina's query, Regina admits it's the soul she loves - she doesn't know its Sterling's. Christina tries to force Sterling to admit his love to Regina. Sterling has a school teaching philosophy and martial arts; for Regina, he took in Christina personally to refine her. Sterling has a philosophy of liberty and is pantheistic/atheistic; however, another student Tanner thinks Sterling's liberty goes too far away from the theism that should be embraced - path that should be taken. Tanner dislikes Sterling's teaching Christina and eventually breaks with the school. Getting some support from a literalistic preacher, Tanner sees Sterling as an Evil and leads a revolt that eventually culminates in a fight that will cost multiple lives, including his own and Christina's; Regina sees Christina's death as the death of her perfect match - physical beauty that was Christina, but unknowingly loving Sterling's mind/soul. Sterling continues the illusion until his death 15 years later. As events unfold there are numerous flashbacks to each of the main characters showing how they came to be as they are, believe as they do, as their interactions progress.
