More DescriptionDeneb Crystal Archives: Extirpation of Sol2nd Stage.Six centuries into the Oo'ahan sanitation program, most Solarian life-form populations approached zero - the remnants confined to mountainous terrain in a small segment of a single continent in the Northern Hemisphere. Humankind, the dominant indigenous life-form on Sol III, were by far the most numerous among remaining populations. Although their numbers had dwindled to less than forty thousand, humans had developed early-sequence sciences that, while rudimentary, helped them sustain a determined resistance to Oo'ahan efforts.Eventually, Hegemony units on-world dispensed with indirect methods in favor of overt application of late-sequence technologies. In spite of this, Humans displayed remarkable resilience, inflicting upon the Oo'ahan surprising reverses, albeit at great cost. After a major confrontation in Salt Lake Valley in 2492 AD (a human reference date), analysis confirmed that the humans had lost their last major population center and all of its substantial production capabilities. Extrapolation of existing trends indicated total extermination in approximately two decades.
