More DescriptionAfter losing her parents to pneumonia, Rosie Sullivan McMurray moves to New York City. The year is 1899, and under the supportive guidance of her aunts, she begins her new life as a vaudevillian singer for "The Sullivan Girls." On the road to success, she is introduced to New York City's many colorful characters, including the handsome Liam Cooper, who offers to be her protective guide around the city. They begin to appreciate each other's company a little more every day, and before they know it, they have fallen in love.
"The Sullivan Girls" success as talented entertainers attracts the attention of business tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt, and they are hired to spend a summer in Rhode Island to perform for upper-class socialites at distinguished mansions. Rosie is introduced to the dashing heir of the Vanderbilt fortune, Cameron Vanderbilt, who has a flair for romance and is keen on showing Rosie the way life is enjoyed by the elite of society.
Back in New York City, tragedy strikes, and the Vanderbilt family plans an elaborate gala to help raise funds for the Sullivans. Rosie is offered an interesting proposition to secure her financial future. During a whirlwind summer, will Rosie be able to follow her love of performing and navigate the wild seas of romance?
