The Easter Rainbow This story began in bed, on the eve of Easter, when my son asked me, "daddy, why are eggs colored?” followed by another question, "why does the Easter bunny bring them, and not the chicken?" I felt then, as I do now, that not only my boy wanted to know, but other children as well, the truth about Easter. I began the story to him that night ten years ago, and never finished; lucky for me, he had fallen asleep. In my visions and imagination, I think it could have happened this way. The Easter Rainbow was first presented as a play in Denver, Colorado. It was deemed a success with great potential for the book world and television. Mr. Blair is a member of the national writers club of Denver and currently working on the television script as well as other children stories.
