Calix
International Journal for Flower Essence Therapy
Patricia Kaminski (Editor)

Calix: International Journal for Flower Essence Therapy, is a publication on the leading edge of holistic therapy and ecological medicine. It features a diverse spectrum of practitioner research, plant studies and scientific reports from around the world, devoted to flower essence therapy. Volume 1 includes articles from the USA, Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, Norway and Japan, covering such topics as depression, menopause, pregnancy and childbirth, smoking addiction, juvenile development, botanical studies and a historical and cultural perspective on Dr. Edward Bach and the future of flower essence therapy. Perfect-bound, 8 3/8" x 10 7/8", 160 pages, more than 130 full-color images.

The word calix denotes a sacred cup or chalice that gives restorative nourishment. A related word, calyx, is a botanical term for the green structure that serves as a “chalice,” or outer floral envelope to support the nascent bud of the plant. We offer the Calix journal to cultivate respect, insight and appreciation for the healing modality of flower essence therapy as it grows in the world.
