Academy of Achievement
The American Academy of Achievement has created avirtual Museum of Achievement on the World Wide Web. This online library will feature an area entitled, "Books That Change Lives" where guests discover which books influenced the early lives of each achiever. The library is also connected to the Library of Congress Center for the Book.

Academy of American Poets
The largest organization in the U.S. specifically devoted to poetry. The site contains new poems by leading poets.

African American Online Writers Guild
A information resource and networking organization formed to educate, inspire, support and promote aspiring and published African American writers.

American Booksellers Association
The official site for this American association of over 5,000 independent booksellers. BookWeb also provides news about author tours and has a monthly contest. Antiquarian Bookseller's Association of America

Buenos Aires International Book Fair

Society of Writers, Editors & Translators
Comprised of people engaged in the three professions of writing, editing, and translating as well as teaching, research, rewriting, design and production, copywriting, and other areas related to the written word in Japan. Its membership is defined less by occupation than by a desire to share experience, information, and expertise involving English writing and publishing.
