Cuddy, Amy (Author)
Amy Cuddy is a professor and researcher at Harvard Business School who studies how nonverbal behavior and snap judgments affect people. Her research has been published in top academic journals and covered by NPR, New York Times, Wired, Fast Company, and more. Cuddy has been named a Game Changer by Time, one of 50 Women Who Are Changing the World by Business Insider, and a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. Her 2012 TED Talk is the second most-viewed talk in TED's history. Amy Cuddy was born on July 27, 1972 in Robesonia, Pennsylvania. She received her BA in Social Psychology from the University of Colorado and her MA and PhD in Social Psychology from Princeton University. Amy has worked as Associate Professor at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and Assistent Professor of Psychology at Rutgers University. Currently she is an associate professor and researcher at Harvard Business School. Her work has been published in academic journals and such popular media as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Wired, and Fast Company. It has also ben covered by NPR.

Amy is best known for her Ted Talk given in 2012. It is the second-most-viewed talk in TED's history.

She has been widely recognized for her work. Amy was named Game Changer by Time Magazine, a Rising Star by the Association for Psychological Science, one of 50 Women Who Are Changing the World by Business Insider, and Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
