More DescriptionJorge navigates a lead warship in a flotilla that is planning to disembark on the north coast of western Cuba as a tactical distraction. Meanwhile, in the center of the island, preparations are being made for the combatants of the Bay of Pigs. Jorge was proposing to liberate the island because he was convinced that a man in exile is a man living in two worlds. For his part, Amadis, a Cuban pimp, finds himself in the Spanish Civil War completing a mission different than the one with which he was entrusted by the Communist Party. He wanted to separate Spain from the bloody orgy that it was stumbling through with reckless abandon, sex, and alcohol. Finishing his task, Amadis moves on to Cuba, where he escapes in 1994 in a high-jacked boat under gunfire and is persecuted by the Cuban Coast Guard. Years later, in this uncontrollable passing of time, Amadis and Jorge return to what is apparently a new beginning for the island.
