Author Biography
(Photographer)
Lee Radziwill was born Caroline Lee Bouvier in Manhattan, New York on March 3, 1933. She attended Sarah Lawrence College, but left in her sophomore year to study art in Italy. In 1950, she briefly worked as an editorial assistant at Harper's Bazaar. In 1951, she and her older sister Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis toured London, Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice, and Madrid. Their reminiscences were collected in One Special Summer.

She began an acting career in 1967. She studied with teachers from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She made her debut as Tracy Lord in the Chicago revival of Philip Barry's The Philadelphia Story. She received poor reviews but finished out the four-week run. In 1968, she appeared in the television play Laura. The reviews were poor again and her acting career ended.

In 1976, Radziwill founded an interior design firm. She attracted a few corporate and wealthy private clients and had a feature spread in Architectural Digest, but her designing career was brief. She was a public relations executive for Giorgio Armani from 1986 to 1994. Her book, Happy Times, was published in 2001. She died on February 15, 2019 at the age of 85.
