More DescriptionThis is a commentary of the first book of the Bible. It is done in connection with the King James Version of the Bible. It is done from a creation perspective. That means that emphasis of the creation themes is present in the commentary on the biblical material. This commentary has a unique perspective on the beginning of the first chapter. It also provides a different view of the authorship of the book of Genesis. While this view is not completely new, it is a fresh perspective because scholarship that is available to any individual has been ignored by many. While there are some who have utilized this information, they have not carried it as far as the current author so a fresh and new interpretation of the authorship of the book of Genesis is presented. The author brings in many outside sources to amplify our understanding of the book of Genesis. Those sources are footnoted. He also provides appendices which can add to our understanding of the Scriptural interpretation. This book only deals with the first eleven chapters of Genesis. The reason for this is that there will be a companion volume done in the New American Standard Bible with color-coded Scripture. That version can only be done in sections because of copyright laws. Therefore, the KJV version is done in the same manner.
