More DescriptionDo you believe in ghosts or spirits? Stuart Harris wished there were such things. He lost his wife and son to murder ten years ago and talked to them every night before he went to sleep, hoping they might hear him. His two daughters suffered from that same loss. The cops in the town where Stu's family lived called the deaths nothing but accidents, writing him off as a pestering wacko. He knew different. With no progress in solving the cases, as a family they decided to move away to a small harbor town on the Virginia's Eastern Shore. They loved their house in Onancock and they loved the friendly town but the loss and longing were still something that persisted. Stu was a free lance writer for regional newspapers and some national magazines. Barbara and Bethany, just out of their teens, worked and attended the local college. Typing away one morning, Stu heard some beautiful music coming from next door. Writers block prevented him from finishing the last part of his current article so he went to investigate. He found his neighbor with white-blond hair was the voice, as she toiled in her flower beds. He was shocked when Millicent (Milli to her friends) shared that she was a Spirit that had been dead for a while and was attached to the house she owned when alive. She said that she had to find her murderer before she could move on. She was beautiful and charming but was this woman a wacko? Maybe? Was he going over that deep end? She introduced her housemate, Cassie Monroe who he assumed was a Spirit too. And so began a new and dangerous adventure for all of them. His house was trashed then destroyed in a fire by an arsonist. His agent, Jerry and his wife, Jill were found dead in an apparent murder/suicide. The little Bug car of his daughters was next on the hitman's list. All of their lives were in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Stuart developed feelings for Cassie but despite being encouraged by his daughters he felt guilty about letting his love for his wife, Sylvia, rest. It was a struggle. Everything seemed to be a struggle for his family.
