She enjoys writing in rhyme and taking her dog to the dog park. The characters in the poems were inspired by people or animals that she knows. Illustrator, PHYLETUS WRIGHT, is a professional artist who owns her own studio, MOUNTAIN SONG, in downtown Hendersonville. Her nature scenes and mountain people are treasured by many collectors. The activities of small town folks at quilting contests, apple and pumpkin festivals, or downtown and country life are the subjects of her artwork. GRANNY is the image of her grandmother.
