Transferred to a depot in another city, Julie enjoys both worlds until she returns to Harcourt. She plans to surprise her fiancé, the influential, handsome and rich Ralph, but she gets the rude shock of her life when she finds another woman in Ralph's bed. An event happens when Julie falls into the sea and Jack saves her from drowning, that singular incident allows Julie to consider Jack and they fall in love. Ralph will not hear any of that and determines,to rescue Julie, his first love from Jack. He employs the services of Morgan, an unrepentant militant and sea pirate, who invades the derrick one night and kidnaps Jack and four other workers.Morgan sets the other workers free but ties Jack to a tree. Julie, unconvinced by the rumorof Jack's death, rents a boat and goes in search of him. In the creek she is confronted by Morgan's boys who tries to kill her and Jack as they run through the greasy water of the creek.
