The invitation to join the new world is taken up by many that would flee Supreme Commander Kalian Denton's rule. He was "elected" by giving the Echelon Council no choice. Those that refuse to be ruled by "slaves" and wishing to cling to the old ways stay in Denton Territory. However, the choice itself makes it possible to alter futures for young lovers and old men alike. Life is not easy for those who integrate.
