In 1990, A civil war broke out in Rwanda between two main ethnic Hutu and Tutsis.The war with its own hatred propaganda, increased hatred among the people of Rwanda,Hutus and Tutsis gave up the spirit to live together as one citizen, in one country.Two citizen were walking in different directions to fight against one another.The hate between them grew day and night, te anger and revenge between them increased the speed to catastrophe which Rwanda witnessed four years later since the war began.That catastrophe was Genocide that distroyed people's lives mostly Tutsis who were systematically murdered by extremists Hutus.Hutus were also killed by Some Tutsis rebels who wanted to revenge for their loved ones who were by then killed during genocide.As today,people are still living with anger of what happened to them and others with resentment of revenge and others with guilty of what they did during the war and genocide.Among those killers noone has openly come forward to ask for forgiveness.The victim of war and genocide have no other choice but to live day and night wondering how their pain of what happened to them will finally faint away.The Anger exists between people of Rwanda. This book is written in Kinyarwanda to try and reach those people who were hurt by crime in order to tell them that the best choice is to be able to forgive.By writting this book in Kinyarwanda,The auther hoped to reach even those Rwandans in remote village who are not able to read English or other foreign Languages. There is a hope that this book will heal the heart of many Rwandans and that is the main objective to be able to heal and give hope where there is no hope.The book start by explaining about the crime,type of crime,how crime can hurt individual and how to show remorse and ask for forgiveness and mainly how to forgive.
