More DescriptionMarika and the Dragon & Other Fantasy Tales, is a saga consisting of four stories. The Fifth Rose & Marika and the Dragon are about two sisters. Jana, the youngest is a tomboy. She throws off the chains imposed on her gender by cruel men. She does this by design. The other, Marika, was raised to be a future Queen. She achieves a position of power by circumstance, and through faith. Eventually, she will achieve her goal; but first, she secures her notoriety, as a Dragon Slayer. The third story is The Wizard's Daughter. In this one you will meet Soira, an innocent girl with magical powers and a no-nonsense attitude. She lives in the 'Forbidden Zone' with ghouls, visiting pirates, and a bunch of trash-talking animals. One of them is Woolsey, a very smart bear of the Wullalabee kind. The last story is about Rejali, an Arabian Sheik, who is lost in the desert and found by Rigoberto, a one-humped camel (in a two-humped camel-world), who was sent out to retrieve him. These four stories are told through the voice of Uncle Gunther, an old man in possession of ancient scrolls found in a cave in the desert. These are stories of female power, and of animal superiority.
