More DescriptionMaster Sergeant Richard (a.k.a. Rico) Gregg had-to say the least-a very "colorful," 20-plus year career in the United States Air Force; the first few years in Transportation and the remaining in Base Operations/Airfield Management. Right out of the chute, his drinking, smoking, womanizing, and pretentious attitude and escapades led him toward a dismal, downward spiral of self-destruction, i.e., until he found God and married his austere-but very loving-wife of 25 years. After obtaining his two-year Community College of the Air Force Degree and while pursuing his four-year Embry-Riddle Professional Aeronautical Degree, Rico was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He was stationed at: Castle AFB, CA; Osan AB, Korea; Spangdahlem AB, Germany; Peterson AFB, CO; Incirlik AB, Turkey; Minot AFB, ND; and Hickam AFB, HI, where he medically retired in 2001. Thereafter, he and his family moved to Colorado Springs, CO where he wrote Medal of Humor. -Heartfelt, uplifting, and inspirational.
