The papers explore the physics of plasmas close to thermonuclear conditions and cover topics ranging from transport phenomena to equilibria and stability, alpha-particles, and heating. Comprised of 27 chapters, this volume first outlines the neo-classical theory for impurity transport in a toroidal plasma before describing an empirical approach to particle and energy transport in a Tokamak.
