The third chapter has photographs from the rest of Michigan. The last chapter has miscellaneous photographs from other Midwestern states, such as Ohio, Illinois and Iowa, that supplement the rest of the photographs by filling out some of the locomotive rosters of the railroads covered in the other chapters and adding a few railroads not previously covered.
