More DescriptionRepressed Memories is an erotic thriller novel about two major case files for FBI agent Lili Foxworthy, and her fellow rookie agent and husband, actor Peter von Rabenhorst.
Quantico sends them on the hunt for a high-end and very deadly wine counterfeiter, thought to be in their area of Southern California, Santa Barbara. Peter gets to try out his skills as an actor while impersonating a newly arrived in the country German Baron looking to flesh out his wine cellar. Both have to bring an end to the many deaths caused by what they call Blood Wine. The end of this hunt for the serial killer, and Peter's first case, causes some serious consequences for both of them, and recalls certain haunting memories for Lili about the first love of her life, Lothar von Rabenhorst, who was Peter's brother.
The second case file turns out to be a far more personal one and brings up many repressed memories for Peter about his childhood and his relationship with his brother Lothar. Lili is drawn into the deepening horror of it all and notices many changes in her husband after a psychiatrist she hired to help him after he got sick, appears to be making him worse, not better. Peter finds himself on a downward spiral into an even deeper depression, with the light at the end of the tunnel rapidly diminishing.
I have priced this book at .99 for July, and possibly the entire summer.
