More DescriptionThroughout time, seers and shamans of particular backgrounds have practiced a teaching scheme called stalking. In this instance, the term does not refer to the aberrant persecution of another's welfare: the literal opposite is the case, as the stalker's goal is to free their apprentice from apparently reasonable behaviors that will cause unforeseen harm down the road. These commonly accepted social practices span the gamut from finding no cruelty in the spanking of the dependent and defenseless, the contradiction of fighting for peace, and the twisted logic of murdering murderers under the banner of justice. The process of raising these (kind of) beliefs from the unrealized to eye level is endlessly affronting, because the unavoidable social circumstances that generated them create a maze of self-justification. Overcoming this intellectual labyrinth requires that the teacher be cunning, relentless, and ruthless in the dismantling of the student's safeguards to self-discovery.The first volume, Stalking the Average Man, chronicles a covert mystic's efforts to have a television technician reinterpret his experiences in the world's hot spots, and recognize a design in his travels that was at once an outrage to reason, a blasphemy to religion, and undeniable: she says he was witness to the end-of-the-world "cycle" of events preceding the arrival of ancient emissaries-the Second Coming saga.Bonnie then brings to John's attention what he is really like: her claims included how his "averageness" is a design of purpose-the brutal events he had witnessed changed him, and these changes are a road map to discovering the source of mankind's core fears and disillusionment.Through what would have been inexplicable events, had she not prepared him, he finds that he has no choice but to accept all of her claims about the end-of-the-times cycle of events being under way. An underlying point of Volume One is that no one in his right mind would believe her claims, then she makes it clear that John is not in his right mind anyway.Vol 2: Stalking the Bridge of Reason deals with specifically how an otherwise intelligent species has managed to perch itself on the brink of annihilation, based on the manipulation of their ability to accurately assess their true circumstances. The focus of this work is on having John claim as his own knowledge the specific ways in which his socio-economic conformations to the world have long been corrupted. He can't see this because his indoctrinations have him accepting illogical circumstances by way of a fine weave of unrealistic expectations, focused uncertainties, meticulously shaped silences. An underlying point of this volume is that if we understand our true circumstances, we cannot determine the proper course of action, the evidence of this already having been stated. This third volume delves deeper into this reveal through an examination of the nature of consciousness as it pertains to behavior, mankind's history regarding previous universal intercessions, and the extreme difficulties involved in a person completely changing their ways.
