More DescriptionThis book was inspired by a true-life experience of a family whose children were encouraged to make a difference in the world. These four children were taught to share, socialize and lead through involvement in other¿s lives. As a result of this tutoring, they were able to combine their resources and make a difference in a war-torn country. Through their efforts they shipped over 7,000 lbs of much needed items while coping with the absence of their sister who had been deployed overseas through the U.S. Army in 2004. Today this family enjoys the benefits of their efforts by having wonderful friends and an on-going relationship in that country.
One morning, while looking east and thinking about her friends in Kosovo, Debbie Foreman heard a rooster crow. She felt as if the rooster was saying good morning. And, who knows maybe it was saying good morning all the way from Kosovo.
Although this book was written by the mother of the soldier, the illustrations have been provided by family members and depict the actual lives of the people mentioned. This story and this book truly are the work of many caring people. It is written as a tribute to those people. Hopefully it will inspire others.
About the Author
Debbie Foreman is the mother of four adult children. She lives in Southeastern Ohio with her husband John, three dogs and several cats. She ran an in-home daycare business for nearly 20 years. This allowed her to be home with her own children. It is the experiences encountered during these years that attribute to the awesome success of her children. This book was written in their honor and dedicated to those they inspired. Although she writes often and has published articles in local newspapers, this is her first book. Hopefully it won¿t be her last.
