It was clear that both types of group have merits and focused on their young people. It was apparent that agendas set by each group were influenced by external bodies and organizations linking to funding and governance. The main question of whether these types of youth groups are relevant has been answered and it is clear that the young people find these groups relevant and beneficial in their lives to some degree.
