But, they are not so successful in this instance--at first. The local pastor wants a wife who will suit him and provide companionship. What he gets is a fiery red-headed Irish woman with a checkered and troubled past and a very strong will to survive. Later, his best friend doesn't fair much better. It's a rocky road with plenty of curves ahead set in a frontier town. It's also a powerful love story full of strong Christian values.
