Holland-Batt, Sarah (Author)
Sarah Holland-Batt is an Australian poet and academic, born in 1982 in Southport, Queensland. She attended the University of Queensland, earning First Class Honours in Literary Studies and MPhil in English. She attended New York University as a Fulbright Scholar and earned an MFA degree. Her work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and periodicals. She is the editor of The Best Australian Poems 2016. Her poetry collection, The Hazards (2015), received the 2016 Prime Minister's Literary Awards for Poetry.
