Author Biography
Warner, Peter (Author)
Peter Warner was publisher, editor, and author. He grew up in New York and was a graduate of NYU. He was president of Thames & Hudson for 31 years (1979-2010). He retired from the Thames & Hudson board of directors in 2020. After retiring he focused on his own writing and editing. He wrote two novels, Lifestyle (1986/Viking) and The Mole: The Cold War Memoir of Winston Bates (2013/St. Martin's/Dunne). He died on September 9, 2021 from complication due to myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). He was 79.
