Author Biography
Herzberg, Judith (Author)
Judith Herzberg belongs to the group of poets who published in the literary journal Tirade, established in 1957 as a reaction to the unemotional style of the preceding literary period. This purpose explains the individualistic character of both the journal and its publications.

Herzberg's individuality consists of an ironic style which makes her poems look much simpler than they really are. Upon closer inspection, the poems prove to be carefully camouflaged expressions of a vulnerable, sensitive spirit poetically reflecting and commenting on human insensitivity. In addition to the publication of several books of poems, Herzberg has been productive in dramatic art, television script-writing, and filmmaking.
