This "Classic" publication in 1979 was a window into the early efforts in the beginning of the Studio Art Glass movement. The title was "Hot Glass Information Exchange, 1979". Various artists offered information together to help one another. This showed how to build equipment and use "new" techniques to overcome the difficulties of melting and processing glass as they created and discovered new processes through their studio experiences. This hard to find book has been a useful text for many over the years for individuals making their own equipment, or guidance in other areas in creating glass art. The book shows up from time to time, but copies have not been generally available until now. We have been given the rights to publish this book again. We would like to thank The Corning Glass Museum, in Corning, New York. They have given us their full support to make this book available again to collectors, and artists and students and "makers" of glass.
