Author Biography
Schneemann, Carolee (Author)
Carolee Schneemann was born in Fox Chase, Pennsylvania on October 12, 1939. She received a bachelor's degree in art from Bard College and attended an art program at Columbia University. She eventually became a performing artist. She was a founding member of Judson Dance Theater. Her performances included Meat Joy, Interior Scroll, and Snows. She died from breast cancer on March 6, 2019 at the age of 79.
