More DescriptionThe approach adopted in each separate part of The Human Trilogy, although markedly different in tone, addresses the same premise, that the direction taken by man in relation to the development of his comprehension about the nature of existence is fundamentally misguided.Misconceptions about the nature of himself and of the cosmos lie at the heart of all profound errors connected with the permanent existential questions confronting humanity. Each book in The Human Trilogy is, in fact, a different journey through those erroneous conceptions that have been responsible for beguiling and misleading man by providing particular incorrect or plainly wrong understandings of himself and the world. Travelling through the expositions in the books is a way of confronting these erroneous ideas head on and to show them up for what they are; partial views. It is hoped that the reader, while journeying through the books and being exposed to both the errors and their rebuttal, will gain sufficient mental impetus to see through these limitations and so free the mind to achieve more objectivity about the true nature of the immense gift of life and its ultimate source.
