Romney, Ann (Author)
Ann Romney was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 16, 1949. As the first lady of Massachusetts, she worked to focus attention on the challenges facing at-risk youth and served as the Governor's Liaison to the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998. Since then, she has volunteered much of her time to raise awareness of the disease. She is the author of The Romney Family Table (2013) and Whatever You Choose to Be (2015). Her book, In This Together, is an account of her life and how she, with the help of her family and faith, have recovered from the disease.. It is a 2015 New York Times bestseller.
