More DescriptionThis is Volume One in the Life After Earth Series: Katya is one of 24 women and 8 men serving as sex therapists who are to provide shore leave for the staff and crew of the SOLAR WIND on a 20-year voyage to the asteroids. Katya is also a Clinical Psychologist from Sweden. Sex therapists are part of the Psychology staff responsible for research into the affects of long term space flight on the staff and crew and their well being as a community. Nippon-American built the Orbital Complex or O-C (oh see) at L5 and the SOLAR WIND (spacecraft) for the UN. The UN wants Nippon-American to tag asteroids for future use. The company wants to orbit asteroids behind the moon at L2 for the lunar colony and Orbital Complex or O-C (oh see) at L5. Katya falls in love with Alex, the Czech in charge of the Nuclear Physics staff for the UN and the Maintenance Crew for the company. Alex has an affair with Iliss, a woman PhD on his Nuclear Physics Staff. Iliss is a married woman going on the voyage with her husband, Jack, the head of the Astronomy staff for the voyage. And Jack is having an affair with Miko, Alex's ex-lover and Katya's best friend. Miko is the head of Medical Research for the voyage. While waiting for Alex to notice her, Katya gets involved with Gregor a brilliant psychotic bisexual spy because he shows in interest in Alex. Later, Katya falls in love with Iliss. Falling in love twice complicates Katya's life and job. How do you hide affairs from 320 people on a spacecraft the size of a city block? Iliss finds a telepathic connection with Alex before they even meet. Their sexual encounters enhance their telepathic abilities. They can make love even when Alex is in orbit and Iliss is on earth. Later, Iliss touches Katya and finds another telepathic connection and the two girls engage in psychic ménage á trio with Alex in orbit. Iliss and Katya look forward to their physical ménage á trios with Alex once they are all aboard the Solar Wind. Katya stops sleeping with Gregor. Gregor murders a woman thinking he murdered Katya and is very happy to find out his mistake because he can murder Katya again. Then another tragedy strikes and Iliss is killed. Alex and Katya grieve. Without Iliss they cannot have psychic sex. Two years later aboard the Solar Wind, Alex begins to have telepathic connections with hundreds of life forms who are floating in liquid and do not breathe. Alex and his telepathic connections save Katya from Gregor. Then there is a plot to destroy the Solar Wind so the company can keep all profit-sharing and twenty years of salaries. That is trillions of dollars for the company. Alex with his telepathic connection saves the Solar Wind. Since the company wanted them dead, the Solar Wind community violates their contract by keeping most of their research a secret and having children. Now they must find a way to return to earth with their children, their fusion engine and all their secret research without the company being any the wiser. The Solar Wind Community buys an island in the Pacific Ocean and builds a Utopian Community there. They invite thousands of scientists to join them and thousands of intelligent orphaned youth to come to the island for a free education.Alex discovers that his last telepathic connection is with a child raised in isolation without human contact for twenty years. The child is the control for a study of intelligence: is it heredity or environment. That boy is one of two hundred test-tube babies created from an egg harvested from a brain-dead Iliss and Alex's stolen sperm. Alex rescues the boy.On earth, the company plots to destroy the Solar Wind community and get control of thousands of patents and all of the telepathic children who would be perfect industrial spies. Alex and the company CEO play a deadly cat and mouse game until the very last moment when an atomic blast destroys Foundation Island and the Utopian community the Solar Wind community founded.
